What is the learned behavior of a red tailed hawk?

Almost everything a red tailed hawk does can be considered as hunting behavior. These hawks fly high in search of food or perch on the tops of trees and very tall poles watching for possible prey. When prey is spotted, the hawks swoop down rapidly, quickly grabbing the rabbit or other unlucky creature in its talons.
