Depends. Any fruit will help you lose weight if you choose that instead of a donut for instance. But if you're already got your diet under control then any further improvement to be gained by eating any special fruits may be marginal.
Some fruits, such as orange, banana, etc, can be high in sugars or carbohydrates. Some fruits are much in carbohydrates, and calories, than other fruits are.
