The reason Hinata would win against Sakura in a fight is because of her training. Sure, a good punch from Sakura could kill her. But her quick movements and her fighting style would outmatch Sakuras. Here is why. Sakuras punches without he precise chakra control would amount to about a bruise or so on a regular human body. So using the Gental Palm Techniques of the Hyuga Clan, Hinata would effectively disable Sakuras chakra flow and most of her jutsu. The only way I could see sakura winning is if she could outlast hinata using he medical Ninjutsu.
