How do you remove the battery from Honda motorcycle?

Removal of batteries from bikes is pretty much the same for most makes and models with a few minor differences depending on the year and model of bike. Start by removing your seat. You should be able to see the top of the battery when you do. Mark the cables attached to your battery so you can remember how they go back in and take note of how the battery is mounted (orientation of + and -). There may also be a battery strap or bracket that needs to be removed as well. This could either be a rubber strap that clips onto hooks at either end or it could be a metal bracket that will need to be unbolted. Remove the battery cables and take out your battery.

Exceptions to this may require the removal of a side cover as well.

When loosening the battery terminals to remove the cables try to use the proper fitting tools. Don't use vice grips or pliers to turn nuts or bolt heads with. It just chews them up. Put the bits of hardware into a plastic bag and leave it in the battery cavity so you don't lose anything and everything is there when you go to pop the new one in.
