How do you change your settings on Twitter so that people have to send a request before they start following you?

Follow these steps:

• Log in to the web version of Twitter.
• Click on the top right button with the figure silhouette. (next to the search box)
• From the drop down menu select "settings"
• Scroll down on the page that appears to "Protect my Tweets"
• Tick the box next to this and click "save changes".
