Why did the Corrs split?

The Corrs announced a hiatus in 2006, primarily to focus on personal projects and family commitments. The band members expressed a desire to explore individual artistic pursuits and spend time with their families. Although they have reunited for tours and special performances since then, they have not returned to a full-time recording schedule, allowing each member to pursue their own interests. The split was not attributed to any personal conflicts but rather a mutual agreement to take a break.
