What is the difference between a mixture fabric and a blend fabric?

A mixture fabric has parts that are made with the type of threads, such as cotton and wool woven in different parts of the fabric, such as stripes of cotton and wool.

A blend is when the actual threads are made up of different types spun together and then formed into fabric.
