Why sexual abstinence is a good idea for teenagers?

Sexual promiscuity often leads to sexually transmitted disease, unwanted pregnancy, and emotional distress (since teen relationships are often stormy). Abstinence is not the only good solution, however, there are risks associated with sex, so if you do not abstain from it you have to be cautious.
