How do you change the pollen filter on a 1999 Audi A4 1.8 liter?

Lift bonnet, remove rubber seal on engine bulkhead (near battery), lift up plastic cover filter can be changed but can be a bit of a pain........ Mine has climate control hope it's the same model!
