What kind of food does a pet turtle eat?

I feed my 4 red ear sliders wardley floating reptile sticks. I have experimented with other foods but they prefer wardley. I give them gold fish (the live ones not the crackers) every month. You might want to give your turtle(s) romaine lettuce but NEVER EVER feed them ice burg lettuce. Ice burg lettuce will KILL them or make them very ill.
