What is the name of the dog breed that looks like a lion?

I believe it was a chow chow

Chow chows look like lions. Rhodesian Ridgebacks were bred to help hunt lions. Leonbergers are bred to look like lions, in honor of the town Leonberg (German for Lion Mountain.) Then there's a toy dog whose hair is trimmed to look a bit like a lion--hairy in front, smooth in back, with a tuft on the end of its tail. Don't remember what kind that is right now.
