To change the fuel pump on a 2000 Kia Sephia, first, disconnect the negative battery terminal and relieve fuel system pressure. Remove the rear seat to access the fuel pump access cover, then disconnect the electrical connector and fuel lines from the pump. Unscrew the retaining ring and lift the fuel pump assembly out of the tank. Replace the old pump with the new one, reassemble everything in reverse order, and reconnect the battery.
