Is the movie Coraline too scary for a sensitive ten year old?

the movie is a kind of freaky and scary, so i'd recommend not to

its beter to watch it on the computer so you could fast forward the scary parts cause like it is a REALLY good movie but yah there are some parts that arent appropriet for 4 year olds
