Where is starter located on 91 Mercedes 560 sel?

On a 1991 Mercedes 560 SEL, the starter is located on the driver's side of the engine, near the transmission. It is positioned towards the back of the engine block, above the transmission bell housing. You may need to remove some components, such as the air intake or heat shields, for easier access to the starter.
