How many species of snake are there?

There are between 2,780 and 2,790 species of Snake species in the World though as new species are discovered the number will grow. Of all the species near 600 are venomous witch means that about 2,200 species are nonvenomous.
There are exzatly 2,400 diffrent types of snakes.
