Who said the constitution will hang by a thread?

This statement is attributed to Joseph Smith, Jr., first President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (often called the "Mormon church" due to their usage of the Book of Mormon which is a history of Christians in the New World). However, Bruce R. McConkie and President Joseph F. Smith have both said that the White Horse Prophecy is a fabrication.
