Can you be 12 and work at a barber shop sweeping hair?

you can i live in Georgia and i go to elite and beauty barbershop to sweep almost every Saturday and they pay u like 40 to 60 dollars a day but u work from 8 in the morning and go home at 6 in the afternoon but to me it worth it
