To open the bonnet on a VW Fox, first locate the bonnet release lever inside the vehicle, typically found on the driver's side near the footwell. Pull the lever to release the initial catch. Then, go to the front of the car, slide your hand under the centre of the bonnet to find the secondary catch, and lift the bonnet while pushing the secondary catch to fully open it.
