Facts about dragon in Mrs Frisby and the Rats of NIMH?

Dragon is the Fitzgibbon's fierce cat who despises other animals and would die to eat one of the rats. The book mentions that Dragon somehow killed Mr. Jonathan Frisby but it doesn't tell how.
