Why are there white seeds in seedless watermelons?

because its from a seed and those "white seeds'' are seed that produce into watermelon when you plant them.

the seeds you get from seedless watermelons are edible (not really but swallowing is fine), unlike real watermelons where they are mainly black and much harder than seedless watermelons
