Yes rabbits DO have "periods" so to speak. You will not necessarily know, but unlike humans, they have to become in "season" This is when they can mate. You will not notice when the rabbit/s bleed but they do, and the doe(female rabbit) will not stop getting in season, unless you get her spayed


No, rabbits DO NOT menstruate nor do they have a "heat" cycle. They are known as induced ovulators because they only ovulate after being bred. A female rabbit will accept a mate at almost any time.
