Did edward teller win a Nobel Peace Prize?

He didn't. What he won was the first "lg Nobel Prize for Peace in 1991. The Ig Nobel Prizes are a parody of the Nobel Prizes and are given each year in early October for ten unusual or trivial "achievements" in scientific research, for discoveries "that cannot, or should not, be reproduced". The self proclaimed aim of the prizes is to "first make people laugh, and then make them think". Organized by the scientific humor magazine Annals of Improbable Research (AIR), they are presented by a group that includes Nobel Laureates at a ceremony at Harvard University's Sanders Theater.

The point of that particular award was that "the father of the hydrogen bomb" won the lg Nobel Peace Prize. Get the point?
