What is role of computers in education?

Giving one the ability to complete work faster by eliminating writing, and with all computers connected to each other being called the internet, its a fast source for knowledge. Having computers in schools is good to have, because all future jobs, will have some sort of computer technology involved and it is good to be educated on to gain familiarity.
