How do you replace a 2010 Subaru Outback cabin filter?

To replace the cabin filter in a 2010 Subaru Outback, first, locate the filter compartment behind the glove box. Open the glove box and remove the stop arm to allow it to drop down. Next, remove the cover by pressing the tabs in, then pull out the old filter. Insert the new filter in the same orientation as the old one, reattach the cover, and put the glove box back in place.
