Is it bad to drink when you're on antibiotics i got a root canal the other day and was going out tonight for a few drinks its amoxicillin?

It depends on what type of infection you have. If the antibiotic is called Metronidazole then you shouldn't drink any alcohol.. It will cause you to feel very nauseous and unwell. It belongs to a family of chemicals related to medicines which were used to treat alcoholics. Hic!!
