Can you tell me how to handle a credit card charge off that is over 8 years?

credit cards are considered written contracts and in most states have a SOL for legal recourse. If the debt is 8 years old and beyond your states SOL than most people choose to walk away from the debt for two main reasons, 1. it can't report to your credit file with the CRA's and you can't be sued.
