I have had 60% of my right temporal lobe removed due to a tumor. Effects have been minimal. Some rather small personality changes can be expected but I found that they resolve mostly in approx 2 yrs. At the time, you will probably not even notice the difference. Headaches are very common but not too bad. Certain sound and visual conditions (in a noisy cafe) can be disturbing and might produce a seizure-like response. Everyone is different. A positive, fighter's attitude is important. Take care of the rest of your body to give your brain its best chance to heal. Good luck.
