(hey instead of hi, whats up not sup, nothing much you instead of nmu) also if they say hey sexy whats up or calls you a cute name, and how long their texts are. if they are short and seem like they didnt take time to write it then its not flirting but if they write really long things then yes. also the guy might be shy.
