While everybody has his/her own opinion about what makes fashion makeup good, there are a handful of tried and true tips. One suggestion is to either draw attention to the eyes or lips by accentuating one, but not the other with your makeup. Another is to use only as much makeup as needed to provide the highlights or covering effects desired (too much makeup can be worse than none). Bad blush is a common mistake, so understanding your cheekbone structure and how best to accentuate it is also a valuable tool.
