Plot of man of la mancha?

Basically, the story begins with poet/playwright Don Miguel Cervantes who gets in trouble with the spanish inquisition and is taken to prison. His fellow prisoners traditionally conduct a mock trial to new prisoners. When Cervantes is found guilty, the 'jury's' sentence is that he be fined all of his possessions including a manuscript that is very valuable to him. So cervantes offers a defense. In his defense he acts out the manuscript, the story of the mad night, Don Quixote.
