Why did Wesley Durden kill himself?

Like many others I was watching 'Next Great Baker' and after Wesley was eliminated I saw the announcement from TLC stating their condolences. Everyone wants to know why. That is the pain and confusion left behind when someone takes their own life. He was so young and more importantly he was a husband and father. Our curiOSity over the reason he took such drastic measures pale in comparison to his family and the loss and endless questions that only Wesley had the answers to. Depression is just as deadly as cancer and as a military wife I am most saddened that we as a country were unable to help in his time of need. Suicide in my opinion is selfish, but no one can possibly say how much pain he felt and why he saw no other options. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
