The first sign of nicotene overdose is diarrhea but it can also cause constipation...mildly. It seems to be most prevalent when starting or stopping a nicotene habit.
If you are thinking of some colon diseaases such as ulcerative colitis or crohn's disease, it actuallty seems to help. Statistically, people who smoke do not seem to get IBD's while those who do not or have quit a tobacco have a much better chance of being one of the lucky few with an IBD. This is why the stats show that people with IBD's live longer lol.
I do not know what role tobacco might play with an IBS such as a Spastic colon but it is probably similar to the IBD's.
NOTE: the negative affects of tobacco do NOT outweigh the positive affects it might have on one's medical condition. A doctor will never tell you to start smoking.
