What is a green insect that looks like a ladybug?

The spotted cucumber beetle is an insect that is green and looks somewhat like a ladybug.

Specifically, the beetle in question (Diabrotica undecimpunctata) has a longer-looking body than a ladybug. It is green-yellow or light green in color. Six large black spots will be found evenly distributed on each of the beetle's hardened upper wings.
