ayurveda basically is an ethical science based exclusively on the clinical aspect of the disease. almost every chapter in almost every books in ayurveda mention about the medical ethics. the major texts generally called the brhatryayees explain typically about the code of conduct of the physician at places explaining bhishag guna and sadvruttha etc. other than that vishikhanupraveshana in sushrutha samhita, the last chapter of caraka vimana sthana also explain of the medical ethics to be followed by a physician.
