How do you convert clothing sizes from us to Vietnam?

Unfortunately in Vietnam there are no universal clothes sizes. Sizes on the labels actually tend to differ between brands and companies. For example, a medium-sized shirt by one brand would be classed as a large shirt by another brand.

Travellers to Vietnam have often reported that XXL sizes there are equivalent to medium or large sizes elsewhere.

If you are sending clothes from the US to Vietnam, you're better off asking for the recipient's measurements and work out their size yourself, which can be a bit personal for some.
