Tarsiers primarily obtain their food through nocturnal hunting, using their exceptional night vision and keen sense of hearing to locate prey. They are insectivorous and also consume small vertebrates, including birds and small mammals. Tarsiers use their agile limbs to leap between branches, allowing them to pounce on their prey with precision. Their diet is supplemented by fruits and other plant materials when available.
