Are Toyota's made in America

Most Toyota's purchased in the United States are made in the United States, usually in one of five plants located in Kentucky, Alabama, Indiana, Texas and West Virginia. It would not be cost effective to build the vehicles in Japan and ship them to overseas markets. However, some parts may not be made in america. The plants specified earlier are officially "Assembly" plants.
