How do you say 999 in French?

neuf-cent quatre-vingt-dix-neuf (pronounced nuhf-sahn-kat-ruh-vahn-deese-nuhf) neuf-cent is nine hundred (neuf=9 and cent=100). quatre-vingt-dix is ninety (quatre=4, vingt=20, dix=10...they have an interesting way of thinking...if you multiply 4 by 20 and then add 10, you get ninety...but its weird how they didn't just make up a name for ninety...but whatever...:) ).
