What is the purpose of filling in a personal income tax return?

The purpose.....to contribute to the society you belong to....that provides so many things you rely on.....and if you have to ask, maybe your so unaware that your likely one needing and using what those taxes provide more than those paying for most of them! You just think everything exists for your enjoyment I guess...and everyone else should provide everything for you.

By asking you show your simply so self centered that you must think everything is about you. I don't even mind, in fact I'm happy that I can be able to help take care of you. Perhaps your one of those unfortunates that the rest of us need to take care of.
