What did Edward steal from Bella in Twilight?

I'm pretty sure that Edward wouldn't steal anything from Bella... he is truthful and he wouldn't do anything to hurt her.

It could be New Moon (the movie + book) that you and others are getting confused about. Yes, a vampire naughtily goes into her room, but that's not Edward, that's Riley. He steals a red shirt to give to the newborns so that they can find Bella.
