What does the Ivory Coast flag mean?

The orange colour on the flag of Ivory Coast is supposed to represent the colour of the land, which is rich and generous. It also represents the meaning of the countries fight for freedom, the blood of young people fighting for emancipation.

The white colour is for peace, but also for peace with justice.

The green colour is for the hope of the country and their certainty for a better future.
