Where should you place wren houses?

Wren houses should be placed in sheltered locations, ideally at a height of 5 to 10 feet off the ground, in areas that are not prone to strong winds or direct sunlight. It's best to position them near shrubs or trees for cover and foraging opportunities. Ensure the entrance faces away from prevailing winds and is not directly exposed to rain. Additionally, placing them in pairs can encourage nesting, as wrens are social birds.
