When do we usually see Sirius star?

Sirius, also known as the Dog Star, is typically visible in the night sky during the winter months in the Northern Hemisphere, peaking in visibility around January. It rises in the east and is often one of the brightest stars visible. In the Southern Hemisphere, Sirius can be seen throughout the summer months. Its appearance is more prominent in clear skies, away from light pollution.
