What snare drum did Dave Grohl use during the Nevermind sessions?

He almost always records with a 14x6.5 bell brass snare that used to belong to Drum Doctors. Most sources say that it was made by Tama, however, Drum Doctors themself say that it is a custom made prototype snare.
