How many series were there of Shark Boy and Lava Girl?

Shark Boy and Lava Girl became a film released in 2005. It wasn't as successful as it was hoped to be so no sequels were ever produced. There also was a book series made which included two books in the series. The first book was called The Day Dreamer and the second book was called Return to Planet Drool.
