Caligula built the extravagant palace known as the "Domus Tiberiana" on the Palatine Hill in Rome. He also constructed a floating bridge across the Bay of Naples using ships, famously walking across it to demonstrate his power and defiance of the sea. Additionally, he initiated the construction of the Temple of Augustus, which was later completed by his successor.
