How do you remove fiffuser exposing the impeller from a a.o. smith type c pump shaft?

The diffuser is usually connected to the back plate of the wet end of pool pump that houses the filter basket. It is typically attached by two fine Allen head at the 10 and 4 positions. To remove you need to detach the wet end from the pump end to remove the diffuser.
