Pick up coil location 2000 650 v star?

Pickup coil is located in the left side of the crankcase directly outside the stator assembly. The oil must be drained, the sidestand removed and the shift linkage swung away to remove the crankcase cover. To replace the coil, the seats and gas tank must also be removed to properly route the wires. Some later years have a single piece pickup coil and stator module that must be replaced together.
