Answerwell actually , depending on the condition of your hair,Temporary hair colours can stain your hair. If your hair is thick and in poor conditions , temporary hair colourants can stain your hair. I am a hair dresser by trade and beauty therapist, I have seen this happen on may occasions

ANSWER

I have to agree with the first person that answered. The molecules in temporary hair color are to larger to penatrate the hair shaft. So the color sits on top of the hair. If the temporary color stains your hair than it is not a true temporary color, it would be a semi permant. Temporary hair color comes out after each shampoo.

ANSWER

The 2nd person is absolutely correct. I currently have stained PINK hair (was purple before fading). It really does depend on the health of your hair; the more damaged the more porous your hair. The more porous the easier the dye molecules (big or small) can pass through your hair cuticle and unto your cortex-thus staining occures. You will definitely know when your hair is stained, because you not matter what you try be it bleach, dish soap, dandruff shampoo, color-correctors, Swimming Pools, etc. It will not go away. Pure evil, so take care of your hair! I sure learned my lesson :3

AnswerYes, hair dye can stain your hair.
