If you have facial hair, you could try leaving one side of your face unshaved, while you shave the other side, for a period of time

  • possibly every day for a couple of weeks. You could then compare

the thickness of the hair that is growing on both sides of your face. Even if you do not have facial hair, you can do this experiment on some other body part, such as an arm or leg. Most people have hair growing somewhere.

The experiment would work best if it is performed by a person who has never shaved before. If you have already been shaving, perhaps you have already caused whatever effect shaving can potentially cause. But again, if the face is not suitable, perhaps you could try the same thing with an arm.

If you can get more than one person to do this, you would of course obtain more statistically meaningful results.
